Community Restoration Mission

June 27 – July 1,  2016 (Completed)

Every year we recruit as many people as we can find to come spend a week helping with home repairs and neighborhood revitalization. In recent years we have had over 100 volunteers working all over our neighborhoods. This past year we had a wonderful group from Evansville, IN come to assist work on several homes and the new teen center.

We would love the opportunity to serve you by providing home repairs to you at no charge because we believe in sharing Christ’s love in tangible, practical ways. Christian volunteers, some from as far as 11 hours away, will be raising money and traveling here to serve our neighbors by providing needed home repairs. It is our hope that you would be blessed by our joint efforts, and both your home and heart would receive a bit of a makeover.  We believe that lives are changed, challenged, and transformed through the powerful love of Jesus Christ and we hope to share that transforming love with you.

If you are an Altoona neighbor that could use some help with a repair, a paint job, or yard work, we’d like to put you on our list. Its not likely we’ll get to all the requests, but we’ll do our best. And we promise to keep aiming resources at the stack of applications. Below are is the online form you need to apply for repairs.
